Sounds like your having a great time :-)

Yes its really sad about the misuse of animals in thailand. I can remember bloody elephants being used everywhere for tourist attractions :-(

Alex Says:

Just realised you have a bug! or should i say cockroach!!!

When you hover over the link i posted, it makes the content vanish?

Si Says:

Yeah beach is really nice, but we have only had about 4 days of nice weather. Ironically we are leaving in an hour and the weather today is amazing, blue skies and white fluffy clouds.

@Alex - Yeah it was sad seeing the elephants made to perform ridiculous tricks, especially as the trip was sold to us as an animal friendly conservation trip.

Does it vanish now? Doesn’t for me! Or was it because I hadn’t yet approved the comment?

Jo Says:

Hello guys & Happy (belated) Birthday to Si!!! Hope you had a good one?! Holiday sounds great - even if it does sound a bit rainy! :o( Bet it’s still better than here!!! Pics are great - I’ll have to pop round and see them in full. Much love, peace out! xx

Surin Bay Inn: Day [Something]

July 10th, 2007

View from the Chedi - bug central!
Today was a bit wank! The weather has been crap so we spent most of it in our room. We watched a crap but pretty funny film, Bear Grylls on the Discovery channel and three episodes of 24. Got to the end of season 4 of 24 and we have questions, like what happened to Berus [son of the annoying voiced woman called Dina] and what about the stealth bomber pilot that shot down Air Force One?

Si with a Flower in His Hair!

We decided not to go to Patong tonight and instead ate at the Surin Bay Inn a short walk from the Chedi. Food was awesome and the people were great, we’re gutted we didn’t find it sooner. Still, on a plus note we overheard that the weather is gonna be shit for the rest of the holiday, bonus(!)
