On Reading Again
May 10th, 2007
After I started working in Brighton, I stopped reading. It wasn’t a particularly long commute, but long enough to make me tired enough to not feel like reading when I got home. I have since moved jobs, much closer, and have started picking up the book again.
Current read is Book 8 of the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. It’s a great set of books, immense! I have lost track and am trying to regain the trail. It’s the type of book that can go on for a few chapters with little happening, and then suddenly it will grip you and pull you right in.
I believe there are 13 books in the series, the final hasn’t been written yet. I would try to summarise the story, but it would be impossible, it would end up as an essay.
It’s good to be reading again. Need to get back into it ready for our holiday, and order the next couple of books.
